Default DASTARDLY DOUBLES SHOOT AT ROCK MOUNTAIN

Greetings everyone! Sorry for the late post here, but Sunday, 6/22 we will host our Summer Dastardly Doubles tournament. 100 targets, all true pairs, simos, doubles, whatever you want to call them. Event begins at 9:00, cost is $35 for RMSC members and $45 for non-members. There are two Lewis classes to play (regular and Looney) and a custom blue stone trophy for the HOA shooter. Hope to see you Sunday.

Not a clays shooter and pretty ignorant about the sport...but, what is a Looney Class? On the surface, it sounds like something I could participate in.

We developed it years ago to give the “lesser” shooters a chance to win some $$. After all the scores are in and we have them in order from high to low, we draw a number until it matches a score. That score is placed at the top of the list with the rest of the lower scores following it. Then we place the higher scores after the lowest score and break down the Lewis from there. We try to keep an average of 10 scores per Lewis class. That will pay $100 per class, 50/30/20.
