Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow 2025
Despite the incessant rain and mud I once again felt I hade died and gone to heaven.
This is my very favorite ‘shooting social’ of the year of the ones I am able to attend.
My very best friends are among the folks who make the trek to gather there among the various ‘birds if a feather’.
Steve Cobb at the awards ceremony Saturday evening repeated the oft-said mantra that we absolutely MUST get the young people more involved in the shooting sports and that the price of admission for we old-timers should be that we can’t get in unless we have at least one youngster with us who we will mentor through the process of becoming a shooter/hunter… and I wholeheartedly agree.
It was wonderful to see old friends these last three days and make up for lost time.
I just wish we all lived closer together! It was great to be with you all… ni, it was Wonderful!
