Default 2025 Louisiana State Trap Shoot

The 2025 Louisiana State Trap shoot was a challenge to say the least but the Parkers made the best of it. Don’t know that I’ve ever had four straight days of gusting, swirling wind moving targets everywhere except where they were supposed to be. On Friday the weather was so bad that they canceled the final event of the day. And these were the lowest overall scores I ever seen at a State shoot. But I suppose you have to play the cards you’re dealt.

The Parker SA tied for Non-Resident Champion in the Open Singles event with a 99x100 and won the carry over with another 99. She then tied for Non-resident Veterans Singles Champion but lost the shoot off by a bird. The GHE took Non-resident Veteran Doubles Champion on Sunday and the SAA tied for Non-resident Veteran Handicap Champion but lost by a single target after two boxes in the shoot off. In combination the three Parkers were the Non-resident Veteran High Overall and High All Around. Can’t brag about the scores but the results weren’t bad. It’s all relative.

As usual, the Parkers were the subject of much conversation. And one individual said, “I know you, you’re the guy that shoots a Parker side x side.” Guilty as charged.

Next stop, North Carolina.

Amazing results under less than ideal conditions. You (and Parkers) rule!
