Default Thank you PGCA for the sponsorship!

Thank you PGCA for sponsoring the inaugural 50 target 8ga field event at this years Southern. Any makers 8ga hammer or hammerless is allowed to participate in the event. Also note a 8ga 30 target event has been added to the dove field 5 stand events. This will be BIG!
Start shopping for your 8ga Parker and join in the fun! Plenty of 8ga shooters on this forum to get you started. You will never have more fun shooting a shotgun!

Big pat on the back to you Craig for really starting all this. Between you and the other Craig on my side of the Mason/Dixon I've got to try it. Not sure I ready to buy one of those cannons yet but time will tell.

Don't forget Big Mike Koneski, he was first to add an 8ga event to his Rock Mountain July shoot. Mike also was responsible for obtaining the PGCA sponsorship and assistance convincing the Southern organizers.

I could be wrong but I think Koneski told me Rock Mountain is putting up a HOA trophy for a combination of the two events only open to Parker shooters .

Mike who?? I know mountainboy has been influencial in this but geeze, he shoots 50 event at the Southern. God bless his liitle soul. Sorry, when I think 8ga. I think Larter. I like to come up with something special to present at the Big Whoop event this year. Now if were are talking 10ga, then the prize goes to Mr Thompson.

[QUOTE=Dean Romig;423978]Bo-Whoop ?

Yes Dean, we've expanded it from the Bo Whoop as it's always been, the Baby Whoop for smallbores shot low gun and the Big or Mega Whoop just for the 8ga fans. The Letterman is still a very popular event for those who can't handle two barrels.

There is a 34” 8 gauge currently on the market. Surprised you 8 gauge fellers haven’t snatched it up!
