Default recently bought Parker SBT would like to know what grade

I recently bought a Parker SBT with 32 inch barrels. I looked up serial number and it was made in 1917. How do I determine the grade? I see there are grades SC,SB,SA,SAA,and SA1. Any help would be great thanks Brian

You need to provide at least some more information to get an answer. Serial number? Photo of the water table?

That is a C grade (SC) and the serial number is in a run of dozens of SBT guns which started in 1917, the first year of SBT procuction by Parker Brothers. Your gun had a pistol grip stock and came without ejectors from the factory. Nice find!

The grade is marked on the water table above the serial number.

Hi J Scott, Thanks for info. I brought home the gun yesterday all the numbers match and there is a stock repair on it but not bad at all. but you mention it does not have ejectors. when a put a shell in it and you break it open the shell ejects out. I'm going to get a Parker research letter on it to find out more. Sorry I can't load up pictures of gun cause my computer skills are not great. Again thanks for the help. Merry Xmas.

Brian,
The posting of photos on this site is a bit complicated for me, too. If you can take them with your cell phone and "send" them to yourself on your computer email, then you can transfer them to this website as an album. Then they can be put on this thread. Get in touch with John Dunkle on this site and he can help. There may be an easier way than my cryptic explanation. You should join as a full member and save $ on your letter.
