Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

first solo hunt
took my 6 year old GSP "Pepper"out to a local preserve to hunt him for his first solo hunt. His older brother Buck passed April of 2022. Pepper hunted once with Buck back in 2020 which also was Bucks last hunt due to dwindling health. We had great time today. Pepper for being "green" did extremely well. retrieved, found a cripple , and found a lost dead bird in brush I never would have recovered. The wife went with us and bagged a couple with her import double.
I of course was using my ever trusty DHE Repro 12. It has taken over as my go -to for these close range hunts. Litterally doesn't miss at my GSP pointer distances. Our last birds taken were actually flushed by a rogue buck running the field edge. Surprised us but flushed the birds towards us. All in all was a nice day.
