WWII Parker with better pics and serial #
Please forgive me, I'm slowly learning how to do this. As I said prior, my father recently passed and left me a Parker that was given to him by his cousin. The cousin was with the American forces that initially entered Tokyo towards the end of WWII. He told my father that the gun was used to gaurd American POW's. The buttstock is stamped with a four digit "inventory" number preceeded by a Japanese marking/symbol. The serial number is 220053 and on top of the sight rail it says "Parker Bros Makers Meriden Ct. USA vulcan steel." Any info will be greatly appreciated.
