Default Not a double, but a nice firearm.

Early Griffin and Howe "Sporter." Built on a Springfield 1903 action, chambered in 7mm Mauser and fitted with a Lyman 48 peep it shoots 1-1/2" groups at 100 yards.

The rifle is a joy to carry and shoot and a great example of what G&H produced.

Jay, Here's a '98 put together I've had for more than 50 years. No SN and was probably done in Germany after WWII. It had slick express sights when I got it and I messed it up and put the 48 on it to make it more versital, which it is; MOA with the right loads (it's an '06).
