Pheasants In New York
It looks like everyone is getting out for their respective early fall bird hunting opportunities. I finally had a chance to get Grayson out on released pheasants this weekend and it was fun. This was my first attempt at pheasants with my 28 gauge DH and things worked out well. This gun has 28" barrels choked Mod and Full and my reloads with 3/4 oz 7 1/2 shot did the trick on these close-flushing birds. It will be hard to go back to the DHE 20!
