I just joined so please bare with me, posted under hammer guns for the first time, probably should have posted here. So if nayone can help with a hammer gun any suggestions wold be welcome. Once again thanks !

looking for info on parker sxs in the albums area posted under my name I think barrell was cut but my friend is sure gun was ordered T 23 1/2 INCHES. i THINK THIS A "G" GRADE. Gun is very tight almost no finish just patina no rust.

We can't tell you much about your Parker withoun a serial number. It appears to be a grade 2 and seems to be in nice condition.

S/N is 338xx, if this any help there are 2 birds flying on one side of the recv and 2 grounded birds on the obverse along with scroll work behind the hammers. also bottom of recv and trigger guard. As I said my main concern is that the barrells have been shortened by someone and are not original length.

William, Only 33800 and 33801 are listed in the serialization book,a 10ga 32in and a 12ga 30in, unless your gun is one of those it's not listed. Show us a nice clear,closeup picture of the muzzles and we might be able to determine if they were cut from that.
