Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Interesting Late Remington Model 1900
Interesting late Remington has popped up on GI.
https://www.gunsinternational.com/gu...n_id=101856383
A K quality gun with Twist barrels. Guess we'd call it a KT-Grade. When the K quality guns were introduced, Remington offered two versions, the K-Grade with plain extractor and Remington Steel barrels and the KED-Grade with ejectors and two-stripe Damascus barrels. By the 1903-04 Remington catalog they added a KD-Grade with plain extractor and the two-stripe Damascus barrels. By the 1906 Remington catalog they filled out the line with the KE-Grade with ejectors and Remington Steel barrels. Those remained the offerings through the last Remington Arms Co. catalog to offer the Remington Hammerless Doubles, 1909 --
1909 Catalog pg 24.jpg
1909 Catalog pg 25.jpg
Twist barrels were the standard offering on the No. 2 Remington Arms Co. hammer double, but they never catalogued twist barrels on any of their hammerless doubles.

re: Nice Remington
Yes, I saw that one early this morning. It's about as new as a new one and priced fairly I suppose by today's standards. I've owned some similar ones, an 1889 and a 1894, but they just don't have that much appeal to me. I can't really say why either.
