Default Galazan Barrels

I didn't want to hijack David's thread, so here's a new one, different barrel project, but same subject. Has anyone received delivery of the Galazan repro barrels for an original Parker Gun, in any gauge? I can't remember how many years ago I paid a $500.00 deposit.

David, it had to be four years ago that I sent my 20 ga. repro to Galazan to have their 16 ga barrels fitted to it. Got it back in three weeks.

Thanks, Dean but I don't think that was the same project. These are barrels that they offered to be fitted by others to original production Parkers. I ordered 28ga so I could have them fitted by my Gunsmith, to my original PHE 20ga.

On the Reproduction forum and in the Galazan Repro Barrels thread Chuck Heald posted the following:

"Tony and Lou told a friend that they were shipping 16g barrels and 410 barrels were shipping soon. 410 barrels were originally planned as last of the various gauges to ship, but they moved them up."

I wonder when Tony and Lou told that friend of Chuck's "that they were shipping..." was meant in the present or future tense? If it were meant in the present tense, then surely someone among us has received theirs, no?

Greg, your thinking makes sense to me. That's why I'm asking, Has anyone received barrels in any gauge? I've lost track of how many Southern's and Vintager's that I've asked Lou how they are coming on the project. The answer is always the same, "They are in the works".

This project makes the Launch Edition 20 ga RBL look like it was right on schedule...... I wonder if anyone is going to see one of these barrels. Eric
