Gotta a bad feeling about the Simmons barrel project. They have not met any of their promises. I'd want a refund and they could call me if they EVER get any barrels built.

David,
That really stinks. I hate to assume anything (you know what it stands for) but from what you have written I bet the barrels are not complete, were never completed, and it was the tubes (only the tubes in the box) that were the wrong gauge and the barrels have yet to be put together. My feeling from talking to Reggie, not that long ago, is that none of the barrel sets are even together. IMHO even without this latest set back I would say dont expect your barrels until Sept. I hope it works out to your satisfaction. John |

Some good news-My gun is with Brad Bachelder and he will do all the remaining work. He is waiting for 28ga barrels to arrive from Briley and upon arrival it should be under 90 days until the gun is completed. Brad's reputation is excellent and I feel relieved. Simmons is not involved in doing any of the work or supplying any of the material for these projects. Some light at the end of the tunnel?

One piece barrels or monobloc/sleeved?
A frustrating experience and it sounds to be turning the right way. Hope you get what Parker people want, David. |
