Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

10 ga paper hulls and card wads
I have a large number of never loaded 10ga paper hulls and also over powder card and fiber wads.
I would like to load them with low pressure loads for an L C Smith with twist barrels. 19 grains of Red Dot with plastic wads and 1 1/8 oz of shot is the normal low pressure load.
My question is with card over powder wads I know that I will not get as much velocity as with a plastic wad. I also believe I will get lower pressure, does anyone know much lower velocity would be, and to get velocity up if too low, would an increase of a grain or so of powder get velocity and pressure back?

You'll be just fine with the load you listed. I like that load except I use just 1oz of shot. You'll need some more cushion wad height then. Load one or two up and test them. Use Charlies' method - will it knock over and penetrate a Dr Pepper can ? You can get more wads from www.circlefly.com
