We were in SD near Winner for the pheasant opener and the grouse numbers were the best I have seen in years. The prior 2 years were good but this year was excellent. Also saw lots of water, muddy roads, and a virtual sea of standing corn

We were duck hunting by Webster SD and every morning we were straifed by Sharpies. Most we have ever seen out there. No small game license.
