I had a small job to be done on a gun--called Dewey per a recommendation. He was very helpful in deciding what to do and, per my request, did the job. Good turnaround per our discussion and a superior result.

Jent - You are truly the Mother Theresa of wayward and neglected shotguns. We missed you in Georgetown this past weekend. You would have enjoyed the grub. Edward was only 4 birds off the HOA - Carl Brandt.
Dewey has done work for me as well. The work was on time, cost a little less than the original quote, and was perfect. |

Didn't Dewey restore that beauty of an LC Smith in the last DGJ issue?

Does Dewey restore Bernard Barrels ? ... I'm looking for someone who can re-do a set of 34" Bernard barrels and make them look factory new ... And get them back to me within a reasonable time frame ... Or is that just a "Pipe Dream" on my part ?

Chris,
Yes, it was Dewey who retored Skip Dunlap's LC Smith Grade 5. That was the gun originally owned by Admiral Peary. Like Jent mentioned, Dewey's work and reputation are beyond reproach. Better get in line! Mark |

Jim K., Dewey no longer will do composite barrel refinishing except as part of a full restoration.

Dewey will send your barrels to the folks at Circle Fly Wads, or you can go directly to them. David
