And as usual a more gracious host you couldn't hope for ,and for the third trip in a row the birds and country did not disappoint....I shot a borrowed VHE 16 from Phil ,and did well enough when my head was outta my arse ... I think I shot a double almost every day I was out ...sometimes that was the only two I shot

The man himself ....that first day out we hunted in pouring rain ,the ensuing thunder and lightening was the only thing that drove us off the hills,a day to remember !

5000 feet is a little thin for someone raised at 20 feet above the North Atlantic coast ...my thick blood don't move fast enough !

I can't express how much I appreciate this place and the hospitality of Phil and his family ...its a place that as I kid I thought would be impossible to get to ,only to be seen on a screen or read about in a book
