				The best Fall ...

I've had in years and I only spent maybe two weeks total hunting here in Newfoundland

The local forays weren't too bad,the grouse in my spots were fairly plentiful but due to a late spring cold snap with heavy rain and in some places here,a foot of snow in June....all birds I took this year were adults ...I could only imagine if not for the weather how good it would have been - considering how many birds we seen last Fall

First the barrens ,and the only Ptarmigan I shot this year ,numbers were decent but due to the fact that was my sons first season and the barrens are too taxing with his health issue ,I spent most my days chasing grouse with him
