Honored and Humbled Again...
I received a package in the darkness at 6:30 on Friday morning while Kathy and I were sipping our coffee by the warmth of the woodstove. Its arrival was vociferously announced by Grace who commenced to barking wildly at the shadowy figure at our door (we have a six-foot-wide glass door) and I leapt to my feet to intercept whatever may happen.
It turned out, of course, to be our mail carrier and I invited him in for a cup of coffee, but he said he had much too much to do and had to take a rain check.
I saw that it had come from our friend and fellow PGCA member Jerry Van Horn and so I opened the tube and pulled this poster out along with a nice note he had written to me. What a really nice reproduction of the cover of the Vol. 25, Issue 4, Winter Issue of Parker Pages!
I'll take it to be framed on Wednesday and it will hang in my (yet to be finished) sporting/gun room.
Jerry, Thank You Very Much and Merry Christmas!
