Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

FITTING ITHACA BARRELS
I just purchased a set of Orphaned Ithaca Flues 16 Gauge 28" Mod/Full Barrels with the forend with the hopes that they could be fitted to my 1912 Flues 16 Gauge which has 26" Cyl/Full barrels and have a nice two barrel set. The new barrels snapped right on but the lever stayed to the extreme right and there is a gap between the barrels and the receiver. They will open and close easily and when closed they and tight. What is the opinion that they can be successfully fitted to the receiver? Thanks.

Rotary bolt is not passing through the barrel extension to allow the top lever to return. Shim the barrel lug and move the barrels back towards the breech and eventually the bolt might pass through the barrel extension. Beer cans make good test shims and when you get the barrels stuck you can blame it on the beer.
