Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

HUNTING IN THE REMNANTS OF HARVEY
We got lucky with the remnants of Harvey for opening day. Took two fifteen year olds and one fourteen who insisted that we go hunting in the pouring rain for geese. I had texted them at 5 a.m. to say that we would call it off but I got overruled (first time after geese for two of them so they could not wait). Geese were not that dumb today.
Went back with them after 12 p.m. for doves. Just like doves they could not stay away from each other and insisted on flocking together shooting so many times at birds out of range. Anyway, they had fun. They got fifteen altogether. I took the open and I.M. Trojan 20 and had a good day since it stopped raining for about four hours while we were there. Called the crow in with my voice and the little 20 popped him. Had to check the game laws to see if that was legal. Crow season came in August 19. Unheard of to have a season on them when I was young.

I was going to go across to the neighbors under some walnut trees above the field they had cut . But I just couldn't force myself . Unless I get an invite to a friends place in Madison next Saturday I doubt if I go this year . Well that is unless we go between Xmas and New Years
