GOTCHA!!
In Honor of President’s Day “The Donald’ would like to make the following proclamation:
TRUMP FPC-6.JPG
Fox and Parker. They go together like chocolate and peanut butter, Fred and Ginger, shock & awe and sometimes, like drunk and disorderly! On September 22-23rd the two greatest American side by sides ever manufactured will come together again for the first time on the hallowed grounds of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, back to where the buzz, the grandeur and the camaraderie once reigned: The Vintage Cup.
In a world where mediocrity is the new black, where a man’s reputation rests on his last Tweet, where gluten-free is no longer just a liberation movement in Sweden, and where Bruce Jenner now shops for control-top pantyhose, it’s time for a change!
When Messrs. Cambria and Suponski conceived the FPC back in 2010, their goal was crystal clear. To get their pictures on the cover of
Shooting Sportsman (strike that!) That one day, this spirited contest would emulate (and surpass) the stature of the illustrious, Parker- Smith Challenge held at The Spring Southern.
Unfortunately, two issues have plagued this event from the beginning. First, despite best intentions, the hard-core Parker gunners never materialized on the northern shooting grounds, resulting in a somewhat lopsided affair with Team Fox winning all five contests to date. Second, was the timing of Ernie Hausmann’s shoot, only 5 weeks after The Southern. Undoubtedly, this one-two combination has markedly suppressed the FPC’s true potential.
What has passed is past. We’re hopeful the move to the Mid-Atlantic region, the re-alignment with The Vintage Cup-- together with the late September timing of the Hopkins’ shoot-- will be the triple play needed to vault The FPC into the big leagues.
Two outstanding organizations, a league of extraordinary gentlemen, the finest guns on the planet, competitive targets at a world class venue, all enwrapped in the grand tradition of one of the finest double gun exhibitions in the country. In short, only one variable will constrain this contest: member participation.
So, no more excuses. To borrow a phrase from the mighty, 8th Air Force, it’s now time to put forth a maximum effort.
Why?
Because FPC-VI won’t be good. It won’t be great. In fact, it won’t even be extraordinary.
It----Will---Be------ Freakin’
EPIC.
Mark your calendars. Synchronize your watches and get ready for FPC-VI,
“A Tradition Like No Other.”

LET’S MAKE THE FPC GREAT AGAIN!!
