Another fly rod
Another rod rolled out of the garage this week. Its a little 2-piece (one tip) 4 wt I made from extra strips that I had left over from making a proper two-tip rod. Its for a friend who went to Williams College hence the purple and yellow wraps. Since most folks seem to like hand rubbed oil finishes on guns I decided to try it on a rod (10 coats of Tru Oil and two coats of wax) and I could not be more pleased. The wraps are varnished as usual.
