Default Deep river sporting clays

So I went to Clayton NC to tour a vendors factory. I'm not much of a golfer so my vendor ended up taking me shooting - at deep river sporting clays. While walking the course the guy that was trapping for us started talking about the spring southern- remembered it from reading about it here.

Is it a pretty well attended event? I'm thinking next spring there will be some reason for me to visit that vendor again.

It is likely the biggest shoot/show in the country. So, yeah, it is well attended. Well worth the trip.

Sounds like a plan. Certainly will be able to tack it on to the end of a business trip.

Also went to dinner at the "Angus Barn" how cool is that place?

No not caterpillar. I am in pharma and this was a packaging supplier. Yes southern hospitality- of course the the CEO who was my host is from New Jersey- even though he's been down there for 35 years apparently he is still a "Yankee".
