Got out chasing high country Merriam's this week...this spring has been cold and snowy. Got this tough old bird at 8,500 ft in a foot of snow. Used my 1937 NID 16 bore.
you got me beat on that turkey...its a nice one for sure ive never been in the mountains that high hunting for turkeys or anything else...and i ve never taken a turkey with a 16 ga..congratulations...charlie
