Default Happy 16 th birthday Brittany Star

Can't believe it's been sixteen years. She's the Liver & White French girl, the only French Brittany I've had. She's a little tattered but still doing quite well for a teenager. The other was Lucy, we lost her two years ago last week, she was nearly 14. Dreading losing Star. I'm sure all you dog people feel the same about your furry children. No more dogs it's just too hard to lose them besides, the next one might out live me.

Yea, there comes a time when we have to depart this world, and our furry friends mourn our departing just as we do when they pass, It is told here on the mountain of a man who died and was buried on his property his dog would lay at the foot of the grave for hours every day, and some folks say animals do not have feelings! There are four large stones marking the resting places of Tara, Willie, Ilsa and Gunner. Daisy is 11 and still going strong but the hunt tires her more now. I hope to have one more dog in me and am working on that situation now much to the disdain of my wife...when she finds out

A man without a dog to share the woods and fields with is like a gun with no shells.

"E.H.", I know exactly what you are saying. I raised, trained, and hunted Brittany's since I was 23 yrs. old. Put my last one down a year ago. There won't be anymore for me. The last one was a descendant of my 1st one. Star has lived a long life. The oldest any of mine lived was 13.
