Thank you all, i try to write on subjects that would be useful to those looking to know more about Parkers and how they work.
There was some chatter on here last year some time about bolt variations so i figured it would make a good topic to write on in detail.

Just got PP and read this article first because of the forum posts. I really enjoyed this educational experience. I have torn down a few hammerless Parkers and seen some of the variations but not all. Great article Brian. Thanks, Jack

Brian, my 16 gauge top lever 27" hammer gun has a 1910 bolt plate and bolt. I would kind of expect that since it is a 1917 gun.
