Default Vintager’s ?

I’m not sure exactly where to post this, but I have some questions
regarding the Vintager group.
My wife and I would like some help in deciding if this would be for us.
We have checked out the Vintager website, (sure wish they had a forum).
We live about 2 + hours from Pintail Point in Maryland.
Would this be a good event to attend in Sept. to find out what the Vintager’s is all about? We checked out all the pictures on the Doublegunshop.com website.
My wife, (not a shooter) would love to get into dressing in the Edwardian period clothing. Thanks mostly impart to Ms. Dani & Jack’s pictures, she said we could look just like them. (hummm maybe )
If there is any information that any of you can pass on to us, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks much,

Mike & Joyce

If you have an interest in shooting old side-by-sides, and your wife has an interest in Edwardian period dress, then by all means you should go. I also live about 2+ hours from Pintail Point and I have been able to go up and back comfortably in one day. Spend a night and enjoy Maryland's Eastern Shore; what have you got to lose? Take plenty of cash because there are many pretty things you can take home with you.

Mike,I am about five hours away and have made it the last couple of years and really look forward to it. The PGCA has the annual meeting and banquet there. The shooting is great although a little pricey. The guns... OH My.... the guns....Bring two rolls of money...one for the wife...and one for guns.... Also I think there are a couple of folks selling vintage attire....Maybe bring three rolls of money...

Okay I see this getting very expensive.
Guess I can look at it like this,
I like guns + my wife likes playing dress up in fancy cloths = something we can do together.

Well worth the effort. I've only missed 2004. Too hot and humid for an old fat boy like me, use to the dry air of Spokane County, to play dress up on the Eastern Shore in September.
