Default PGCA Silent Auction

Dear Friends and Members of the Parker Gun Collector's Association

The 2016 PGCA Annual Meeting and Banquet will be held on Saturday March 19th at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel and will include, among other exciting features, the PGCA Silent Auction fundraiser. The Silent Auction has been extremely successful in generating much needed revenue for the PGCA and has included some wonderful donations of auction items from both PGCA Members as well as from businesses that specialize in sporting related products.

The items to be donated need not be new; just something you think might be of interest to your fellow PGCA members. In the past some of the best items were those homemade/handmade items from some of our talented members. Please look around at your accumulations of shooting and sporting equipment for anything you thought you needed but find you can do without and contact Dean Romig or Larry Frey and let us know what you would like to donate. Thank you for your continued support.

Anyone planning on attending the Annual Meeting next week should make sure they have money in their checkbook before leaving home. Thanks to the generosity of many of our members and supporting businesses we have many great items in this years Silent Auction. This hand engraved cigar cutter by Geoffrey Gournet is enough to make a person take up smoking. We have a beautiful Famers pocket knife from Robin Hollow as well as shooting glasses, Damascus sheath knife, and bronze ash tray with hunter and gun from CSMC. There are boots from Russell Moccasin as well as hunting trips Little Lake Lodge in Florida and Pine Ridge Grouse Camp in Minnesota. There will also be art work, hunting and shooting books, shotgun related tools and much more. We are unable to accept credit cards so again don't forget the checkbook if you plan on bidding on any of these great items.

James, is that, like, a coaster? No, it couldn't be. It's a ceramic tile. Tell us about it. Wonderful.

And a standing ovation for those who make the annual Silent Auction fundraiser happen as smoothly as it does...

Larry and Deb Frey!

We had another great auction this year and thanks to the generosity of the donors listed above as well as the bidders in attendance we were able to raise our second highest total to date $4,740.00.
