Default LOMs at the Southern SxS

I will be bringing a nice array of vintage LOM cases to the Southern including two Redhead 32-inchers, one plain and one embossed (promised but not sold yet) , and two Brauer Bros., one 30-and one 33" (both of these are for straight-stocked guns; PG guns don't seem to fit properly in either.

Also have one great heavy saddle grade leather 27 1/2" (sorry, not a 28! inch) LOM with brass lock and overflap, marked VL&A Chicago with the ultra-rare flying duck in the triangle on the lid. A great case for a smallbore bird gun! Also bringing a 26" case originally made for a M21 Winchester skeet gun (but not marked 'Winchester')

Last but not least for you Anglophiles, a great Boss & Co. leather over wood (NOT Oak & Leather) pairs case (holds 2 guns), c. 1862-1902 original label, in very good to excellent original condition, especially considering its age.

I don't have a booth, but look for me at the PGCA booth, Roger Bain Inc. or John Algood's booth, or walking around with Morris Baker smoking good cigars. See me soonest for your choice at the best prices. I'll arrive Thursday mid-late afternoon and be there through Sunday noon.

Default And that's what I like about the South!

Sorry but I won't be there to see my brother Parker-ites stick it to the Smith and Foxy laddies in ALL events- I predict a 'clean sweep" for The Old Reliables. But I will smoke a good one with brother Baker in June at the MI "Yooper" Shoot.

I might be interested in the 26" M21 Skeet case- is it a LOM or a trunk style. I saw several Red Head and Heiser LOM cases locally this past Sat. 17th. at a small gun show. One of the Red Head LOMs was embossed with the diagonal stiching and the tab for the carrying strap was stiched to the end cap, rather than on the top near the end.

I recently bought a nice Red head LOM case 32" for my 2E Smith pigeon gun (which I'm bringing to The Yoop Shoot) from brother Parkerite Angel Cruz in FL. If you don't sell the 26" case at the Southern (and I'm sure you will sell them out down there) then we can discuss it after you return.
You are most welcome to ask Angel Cruz if both my word and my check are good!!
