Default parker help

I just bought my first double, a parker. Can someone help me identify the model? I ran the serial number on this site and found out it was built in 1900. I gave 600 for it does that seem ok?

It is a very early VH grade.
Buttstock and forend are a replacement.

In Danvers, MA back in 1974/75 I knew a little boy named Troy Miller whose mother's name was Brenda. They lived across the street from my young little family.

Troy ,a 16 Ga. Parker that shoots for $600.00 doesn't sound like a bad deal to me even with the replacement stock ! If you keep an eye on e-bay often times you can pick up an original at a decent price ! It may not fit perfectly but once in a while you get lucky ! Nice Find ! Russ

Those barrels look pretty long... what is their length?

I guess the first step is to have that hinge pin replaced.

The forend wood looks like a replacement but the only way to tell is to take the wood off the forend metal and look for the serial number stamped in the wood. A picture of the forend would probably be easy for us to tell without pulling the wood. Sure looks like the hinge pin is missing. Are you sure you know what the hinge pin is? Still for $600, you did good assuming the barrels are sound.
