Me too Dave. Thanks. That is actually my second time taking the 12ga. hammer event. My grade 2 32" is without a doubt a gun that was made for me over a hundred years ago.
I also wanted to prove to myself that my 3/4 oz. loads of reclaimed shot could cut the mustard. That's what I also shot in the Fox/Parker challenge.
BTW... You really tore up those trap targets in the single barrel event. Nice shooting.
Although he is no longer a member, congrats. are in order for that diamond in the rough Rich Anderson (aka COB) for winning the 20 ga. hammer event. He was'nt shooting a Parker (who can afford a 20 hammer even if you could find one?) He was shooting an underlever Brit gun. I should know the maker but it escapes me at this time, but it was one of the top makers. I can't keep track of all his guns, but I'm sure he will chime in here to clarify.

When I saw his 40 on the board I knew he would light up the challenge for Team Parker and he did.
Nice shooting buddy as usual.

Great job Daryl - in spite of a very painful knee you overcame the odds. Great shooting ya ol' cripple!

Daryl, I hope you'll still let me shoot with you now that you're a hot shot! Your next project should be 1/2 oz of shot. I shot a 64 at Blue Ridge today, I'm trying to get to your level of ability.

Let me know when you are shooting T-bone and targets. Congrat's again.

Great shooting Daryl. I'm glad to hear about the performance of 3/4 oz loads. I guess sometimes less is more

Thanks everyone. Let's not forget the fine shooting of Scott, Rick, Larry and Fred who held up their end and got us to within 3 targets of those fine boys from the Fox den. We had good energy on our squad which really helps. Next year!

Chuck;
Funny you should mention Blue Ridge as a couple of us were heading up there yesterday but one of the guys was worried that there was a shoot going on there and it would be too crowded. Sorry I did'nt press it as BR is one of my favorite courses. We ended up at Central Penn. I'm am going up for the T-Bone and targets shoot on the 24th. I'll be in touch.

Yes Mike, less is really more. If shooters would only take the time to work up a light load and gain confidence in it they would realize the effectiveness of them.

And Dean.. I don't mind being called a cripple but the "ol" thing... well. lol.

Yeah, even with a bum knee Daryl is still kicking arse and taking names. Certainly missed shooting with him at Drakes this spring.
