Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

2nd bird
My 13 year old grandson Zach came down Friday afternoon to get ready for the NH youth turkey hunt on the 4/25 an 26th. we tried a different 20 ga this year ,a new to me Ithaca NID 20 ga FE grade 30 inch F/F (.025 in both) We did a test pattern at 40 yds with RST 3/4 oz 7 1/2' s. It shot a 89.3 % pattern . I loaded up some 1 oz of 6's and at 20 yds it had a 12 inch pattern, this should work great out to 30 yds. Saturday was a bust, very windy birds were quiet, had one at 40 yds but he left. Got up at 4 am today went back to where we saw the bird Saturday. At 1st light we heard about 6 different birds all around us. Set up just at the edge of a field 5 yds in the woods. At 5:45 there was a bird in the field about 400 yds in front of use. Called with a mouth call and than box call. he answered every time we yelped. He ran to us and at 50 yds he hung up and walked back and forth strutting and gobbling, Than at one point he saw something he didn't like and started walking off slowly. So i took a stick next to me and started raking the leaves to sound like turkeys feeding and softly calling, That stopped him! He turned around and worked his way back to 35 yds put on a new show and as he turned i told Zack to shoot and he did and down it went! 6:05 am DOA. And Mr. Angel Cruz that is the turkey vest you gave him, thanks. scott
update . Bird weight was 19.5 lbs, 8 1/2 beard and 1/2 spurs.
