Parker Barrel and receiver question
I recently picked up a mixed lot of shotgun and rifle parts. One of the items is a Parker sxs 12ga barrel and receiver and forearm, SN 3400. All metal on forearm matches serial number, receiver stamped with 3400 on left side with 3 initials above it (cant quite make it out) and on barrel lug, the initials T.B, no other markings other than Parker ...... Damascus Steel on barrel rib. Any info would be appreciated as to rarity, value (does not have butt stock, lockwork, triggers, etc). Barrels were lightly rusted but cleaned up nicely and minimal pitting in barrel considering it's vintage. Thanks in advance....Tom
ps Anyone that knows Baker and Scott doubles, I have same kind of story for each - Baker sn 567 and Scott sn 26375... I appreciate any info or pointing me in right direction.
p.s. My hope is to find a good home for these items, as I am not a shotgun restorer/user persee... Just hate to see good parts go to the rust bin or sit on a table at the local gun show waiting for the right person.... Thanks again, Tom
