Those open chokes, if ordered that way from the factory, I would say were intended for two uses - depending on where the gun was shipped: grouse/woodcock if up north or quail if down south. Great looking little gun.
That's a late 1/2 frame gun isn't it Dave? |

Thanks for the complements. It is a half frame gun made in 1940. The chokes are .005/.010. I checked out the Griffon & Howe serial # list last evening and found the gun listed. I'll be sending for a letter on Monday.
