Default damascus vent rib parkers

looking at a damascus vent rib gun, dealer claims one of one, does anyone have any info on these guns. i can't seem to get any production numbers on vent rib damascus parkers. thanks.

One of one? Nonsense.

Photos of several have been shown here before. No compilation of records exists to tell how many there are. They are uncommon , maybe rare, but they are certainly known. And certainly interesting.

Here is one with Bernard Damascus, although the photo doesn't show the vent rib, it has one.

I saw one myself at Hausmans last month. And that one was not for sale. So the one you are looking at is not alone.
Vent ribs were introduced when Damascus barrels were still available. So some got made, but not nearly as many as Fluid steel.

I saw one at Puglisi's several years ago. If memory serves it was a Dh 12 on a #2 frame.
