Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

0 grade lifter
Just picked up a grade 0 lifter #18743. It's a 1 frame,12 ga. 28"twist brls.,straight stock. but it has border engraving around each lock with a small amount of floral engraving at each end of locks, checkering and very small amount of engraving around the screw that holds locks together also some outline engraving on hammers.other than this it is a 0.
It has perfect bores and is tight. missing butt plate.I plan to make it my hammer grouse gun
Is this small amount of engraving normal for 0 grades?I have not seen very many lifters but noticed one on "hammer guns" that was near mine in ser.# but no engraving?
Thanks for all the info and knowledge on this sight. Herb

Without seeing photos of it, I would say it is likely one of the 0 grade guns with the roll stamp design around the lock plates. Parker did this for a short while. It was the start of any sort of decoration on an O grade.
