Angel, Been there and done that 2 years ago, Dean, she is eating ice loves ice cubes and snow, think maybe I have broken her from eating checks, although I do not leave them within reach of her, for those of you who are wondering what all this talk about eating checks is, a while back Dean and I did a transaction which included a check, two days later I could not find the check, finally found one corner of it at her food bowl, Dean was gracious enough to write me another, Gary

Nothing gracious about it. Near as I could figure, with the check destroyed, you still hadn't been paid for the gun. It was pretty funny though... kinda like "the dog ate my homework" thing. We all laughed about it.

boy a check eating dog...funny... a friend of mine once sold a 32 ford 3 window coupe for 20 thousand cash.it was in a brown paper bag..as the buyer left with the car he turned and went in the house and sat down on the couch he was kinda sick from selling the car..he sat the paper sack by the couch on a small table then proceeded to go to sleep...several hours later he awoke and thought of his money..he looked but the sack of money was gone..he said to his self the wife found it and put it up in comes the wife he asks her if she had seen or put that sack of money up she says no...friend about goes ape he says...he and the wife took that couch andthe house about apart...by noon they had not found the money by then they figured the buyer of that car had slipped back in and stolen the money..about 4.00pm he missed his evening paper his little dog always went and got the paper for him and would bring it in the house..so out side he went looking for the paper and the dog...well he found the dog laying in his favorite spot under some small bushes there was the evening paper and the sack of money..aha the thief had been found..my friend said the little dog had never before took anything out of the house before..he said he learned a valuable lesson never leave your money laying around cause you never know who will get it..ps all the money was accounted for.. true storey... charlie
