This one is 26" and has line and blank spot at end of barrel. Otherwise as you state.

Check for a "2" marking on the forend lug. Could be a second set of barrels on the gun. A research letter MAY confirm an additional set of barrels was added by Parker. Also compare style of serial number stamping on the barrels to that of the gun/forend.
That later era would be a larger san-serrif font. The space at the end of the barrels rib confirms that set is not cut. but it may not be original to the gun.

A stamp of either a 1 or a 2 would indicate two sets of barrels. The forend lug of a two-barrel set normally would also be marked with a 1 or a 2.
But then, there have been some errors in the ID & Serialization Book. |
