I was told years ago that it is hard to find a gunsmith that knows how to repair those Foxes ' cause they never break down. BTW: 2 16 SW, 2 20 SW, a 12 pin gun, and a 16 A Grade Fox |

I would guess the problem is with the unhooking slide not moving the cooking hook, I have had this happen before. that's my two cents I hope its nothing serious.

What year was your Parker made Craig? It could be any number of things by the sound of it. Post 1912 guns had a much simpler top lever mechanism.
