Default Trojan

I've seem several Trojans on the market here of late with some decent prices. Did Parker ever make the 16 ga Trojan with 30" barrels? I've seen alot of 28" and a few 26" but i do not recall ever seeing a 30" barrel.

Good Morning Derrick, At the end of each chapter on the grades in the TPS, they list Gauge and barrel length, and quantity made , and the TPS shows ,three 16 Ga. 30 " barreled Trojan grades ,Quite a find if you have one I would say !!

Russ, No I do not have one but one of my standards is a gun must have at least 30" barrels. I've purchased 1 gun with 28" barrels and sold it a week after buying it. I am also slack in the fact that I do not have a copy of the TPS.

Thanks,
Derrick

Derrick,The Double Gun Journal is selling some slightly blemished sets of the "Parker Story" for $195.00 for both vol's. That is a super deal! Now's your chance.

Ohhhh Santa....

I'll have to see if Santa can bring me a set for Christmas this year. I've already got 2 christmas presents for myself already. 1) New Packable Wool Hat from Orvis 2) Beretta Wind Barrrier Northeaster Wool Sweather for shooting, both in Brown so they will match my LL Bean Wax hunting coat I bought for my birthday.

If my memory serves me correct didn't Mr. Eightbore state sometime ago he had a set he'd like to sell??

I agree with that there are some good guns on the market at reasonable prices right now. Little things like that and the emptiness of resturants and retail stores kind of makes me leary that the economy may not be as good as Mr. hope & change would have us think...if in the end a re-adjustment in the value of Parker Shotguns results, I'm poised to pounce....

Well me and my wife are on the outs to say the least. She called me yesterday and asked what I was getting the stepson's for Christmas? She said not to get her anything cause she wasn't going to buy anthing for me so thats why i've bought a few things for myself already. Maybe a TPS can be included this year.

All you guys with great wives (and I know alot of you do cause i've met a few, Mrs. Murphy and Mrs Frey come to mind) are fornatute and consider yourselves lucky.
