Default Looking for information

I have just purchased a Parker GH 12ga on a 1 frame...It was built in 1890...I haven't seen many of the 1 frames on a 12ga just wandering if many were made in the GH...Thanks

No one really knows how many 1 frames were built in 12 guage, but my guess is quite a few. They are an easy gun to like. Carry lite, quick shooting, and a 12 to boot. Check out barrel wall thickness because 1 frames can be thin to start with. Shoot low pressure shells and enjoy. Dave

Thanks for the reply...I thought the barrels would thin also but when I removed the barrels they are 4 lb 9 oz. I took the barrels to our gun club and had the wall thickness checked .065 6 in from the chamber and .050 about 18 in from the chamber this was on both barrels...
