Default Missing Barrels DHE Trap

I'm looking for the 28" #1 set of barrels for my DHE trap 216201. The gun is listed in the Serialization book as TI3, capped pistol grip, 1 for options...extra barrels and 28" barrels. It is wearing a set of 32" vent rib barrels with 2 stamped on lug and beaver tail fore end. She was made in 1926 and holds a nice amount of case coloring. Have to get a letter on this one. I am still without camera so used cell phone...sorry.

Nice gun Bob. Good luck!

How do these trap guns get seperated from their barrels and forends? I've seen and traded a number of them.

Who knows, I can just imagine the widow asking a relative or friend to sell this shotgun and the other set of barrels are leaning in the corner of the closet or I can see the puzzled looks on their faces as they look at 1 and 1/2 shotguns on the kitchen table....
I can only hope, as I would think the 28" barrels would have been made for Skeet or upland hunting.
The other thing I hadn't mentioned is it was built or converted from a single trigger gun as it has a L and a R on the floor plate under trigger guard, hope the letter sheds some light.

I recently sold a set of 32" DHE Titanic barrels with BTFE and twin ivories. I'm sure their story is very similar to the scenario you spoke of Bob.

I would say this gun made a few trips to Meridian. Had a question that I think Bill Murphy brought up recently an that there will be limited info on a letter after a certain date ? Here are some pictures of floor plate showing that it had a single trigger at one time...does anyone have a guess as to which one in the relation to where the left right selector was positioned...the owner must have got tired of it and had it removed. I think the stock must have been replaced when converted to a double trigger. Any speculation on LGW?

It was 1919 and later... yours being of 1926 manufacture, there will probably be minimal information on it from what I've heard.

I know of a set of Damascus DHE barrels. But not a Titanic set.
