What weight is struck on the barrels ? Witg this one weighing 7 1/2 my thoughts of one of the EH guns on a #2 with 28" or possibly 26" barrels might be just what I want for a drive gun as opposed to the two heavys I already have !

Strangely with both of these guns being approx IM or tighter they both show a liking for 000 . And it just so happens I have 15-20 pounds of Remington 000 someone gave me a few years ago . I've had very nice results in the past on deer with 000 , 00 , 0 and 1 . Over the next year or two I wanna take a few with #2 and 3 buck most likely in the 20 gauge guns but then again they seem to do nicely in this 10 gauge as well .

I think you have a nice gun. I think I had purchased it and returned it several weeks ago. I only returned it because I need a set of 32" #3 frame Damascus barrels and the holes for the sling mount would have shown up after refinishing. I would have kept it anyway if the sling swivels had lettered. However, I have a 16 gauge #0 frame DH that has sling swivels that do letter and the barrel mount looks nearly identical to the mount on this gun. It looks tasteful to me. I ordered a letter on this gun and I would be happy to give it to you if you would like it.

Some dipstick "refinished" the stock on this gun I assume several years ago and was most certainly over active with the sandpaper/steel wool around the upper and lower tang on this gun . Other then that I don't have alot to complain about with this gun .

Sure looks good from where I stand. The stock on my EH is a little undersized or seems to be, too.

Now all I need is another EH with 28" factory barrels on a #2 frame and an EH on a #6 frame with 34" or 36" barrels !

Lotsa luck to me on both counts

Mine has 28" barrels, but not factory. I need one with 30" or 32" factory barrels
