Well I now have an EH #2 with 30" barrels and this EH #3 with 32" barrels .

I looked thru the serial number book looking for hammerless 28" 10 gauge guns and found more listed then I expected . Anyway I'll keep eyes open for one of them also hopefully EH grade .

While I was looking for the 28" guns I also watched for 26" and 24" . I found very few hammerless 10 gauge in 26" or 24" but there were a few .

Most of the small action screws are buggered a bit , there's a chip missing from the toe , the home made swivel stud on the barrel and the swivel stud in the butt stock small things that'll get fixed over time !

I wanna try it on the pattern board with #1 Bismuth monday from 40 yards and perhaps with some buckshot handloads on paper .

Hmmm on my postal scale this thing weighs 8 pounds 12 ounces . I think it's a shade lighter then my #2 frame gun with shorter barrels

Monday morning weather permitting I plan on trying this new to me Parker with handloaded #1 Bismuth on the pattern board . And then try hanloaded 000 , 00 , 0 , 1 and 2 buckshot all buffered but shoot these on paper at 25 yards the Bismuth I'll try at 40 yards .

Guess it will kill a deer. By the way, my #2 frame DH ten has 27" original Damascus barrels. It weighs about 7 1/2 pounds. According to The Parker Story, it's one of three.
