Chuck, you've probably seen photos of my C 20, its the one with rondell side panels and the wood duck on the floor plate. Skeleton butt, PG. Charlie has one with high condition case colors and deep cut engraving that is drop dead gorgeous and ranks as one of the most attractive Parkers I have seen . There are not many of these guns, about 4 or 5 by my less than perfect count.

Yours is a beautiful gun, every one of these I have seen has been highly interesting and wonderful work. You know how rare these are and how sought after they are.

Mine is still in its A&F oak and leather case with silver A&F New York oil bottles and snap caps, which is kind of nice. We'll have them at Minneapolis Pheasant Fest Feb 15-17 and the NRA Houston show May 3-5....we could use your help???? Good venue for selling guns also. Last year I saw a pair of 28ga D's change hands for way more than I thought rational and the oil market has been good for Houston.

I have seen your gun -- gorgeous, the rondell scenes are 1 of my favorites. Rich has a rondell engraved C 16 with bernard steel barrels that is gorgeous as well. These "C" grade guns in my opinion are some of the prettiest of all the parkers and the rarest as well. I believe you are right about the damascus "C" 20ga guns at possibly 6. Not many around. I will look into coming out and shooting with you guys. How did the trip to the sand hills end for you guys

Horrible range fires this year, so cancelled, but on for 2013. We are working on the L C Smith boys to get Frank to enter a team.....got to be a walker with stamina, able to walk 5 to 10 miles/day uphill and down. Probably room for another Parker team if people want to put something together, but Team Parker is full.

Here is my 16 Bernard and a few Nebraska photos.

The gun on the ground is C Bernard with vent rib. Kind of a rare gun too. For the stock fence line up, I shot the old Bernard hammer gun in an Annie Oakley line and held my own in a high stakes money game against modern guns for quite a while. Next year....

Bruce
The mid west got its rear kicked this year with drought , high heat and fire. Traci and I have hunted SW Kansas for quail for the last 10 years and put off our annual pilgrimage this year due to a lack of birds. This is sad to me as the hunting was really starting to get good.

This was the last trip out west last fall- traci and I run our pointers early on sharptail (North Dakota) and head south to kansas for quail. The che 20ga with acme barrels made the trip. I am going to breed "Buster" my big male in the photo to Ed Bowens female this spring. Buster is one of the best handling and even disposition pointers we have owned and fabulous dog.
