Were you floating the river for ducks? Seems like I always see enough for a limit or two when I've fished there. Course that's always early spring.....

No keel - flat bottom. Slides a bit in corners, but I've learned to adjust.

Destry - I've floated the river probably 100's of time in the summer, and you can nearly hit the ducks/geese on the head with your paddle, but on opening day of waterfowl season......
