I believe that to be true also. I have had good work done by Turnbull in the past. Very professional and excellent work. The conversation worried me because I believed this gun to be factory correct when I bought it. So glad I joined the PGCA and had a letter researched.

I like marking in my serialization book when I discover "anomalies"...like my early Lifter shows PS for Plain Steel, when in fact it is a dollar grade damascus gun. woul you care to share the serial # of your gun?
