Bruce:

Alas, I am unable to make the Yooper Shoot. I have to be in CO doing the Professor Glenn thing at the Trinidad summer gunsmithing school at that time.

I do figure on making it up to the Duluth Puglisi shoot in July...

$16K is still a pretty decent price to pay for a $50K gun.

I can only presume that sales of those Remington, CSMC, Parker guns are far from brisk in this economy... anyone know how many have sold since their introduction?

We didn't really order one of the new Parkers, but it is interesting to consider. I would think the organization would need at least 60 firm commitments to buy tickets before purchasing. That's about .5% of the membership.

Dean, the last number I heard a year ago was 13. I can't recall the source and can't attest to its acuracy.

RGS raffled off a CSMC Parker two years ago, I bought a ticket but I can't remember what I paid... $100 I think. I believe they sold 1500 tickets. I have two tickets right now for the RGS 28 ga Mod 21 by CSMC. Drawing is next month but I have never been lucky in these things.

I bought a ticket on that one too. They didn't sell as many tickets as they had hoped so they went to guns that cost the RGS a bit less so they can realize more revenue. I'll be buying a ticket for the 21 also. I've had some luck in gun raffles in the past....

Dean - RGS is a great outfit and I hope they have great success with the 21. However, I would encourage you NOT to buy a ticket as you are unlikely to win - Dave
