I still have my dad's vest, but like Destry said, Dad was whole lot smaller than I so it's just a photo prop these days. Here it is with a box of his shells (I still have 4-5 boxes and can't bear to shoot them) and his Savage 775a in 16ga (please don't ban me for posting an autoloader on here !).

Great cap by the way!

I've got a couple boxes of my Grandfather's 20 gauge shells. I'm saving them for a special occasion.....

That's a pretty cool old auto-loader! Would be fun on doves.

That's actually a completely new one on me, I've never even heard of that gun before. But oddly enough, I've got a stray gun stock I've never been able to ID, and I think that could be it.

No one will ban you for owning an auto loader but you may be on parole for a month or two.

If that's true then they're going to parole me for a long time. I think I have seven, maybe eight......

Destry, here's a shot showing more of the stock; maybe it'll help confirm/eliminate this as your "mystery" stock. These guns are another of the many built on John Browning's patent; the earlier Savage models had the hump back; guess they tried to modernize the look with this profile. If the Rem 11 is the poor man's A5, then these are the even poorer man's Model 11. It's the only gun I ever knew my father to own; dates from the early 50's. I know they were made in 12 and 16; I've never seen a 20 but I guess they could be out there. The "a" denotes a lightweight alloy frame.
